The minimum wage amounts $152,3 in 2019. Such sum is provided by the law #2629-VIII on the state budget of Ukraine for the current year.
“It is ordered to establish the minimum wage in 2019: in the monthly amount from January 1 - $152,3, in the hourly amount from January 1 - $0,92,” the law states.
As it was reported, the Ukrainian Parliament passed the law about the state budget for the next year (bill No.9000). 239 MPs voted 'yes' in the second reading, 240 upheld it on the whole. The final voting took place in the early morning of Friday, November 23. The President of Ukraine signed the law on December 7.
The budget foresees the incomes at the rate of approximately 36 billion U.S. dollars, including incomes of the general fund - 33,1 billion U.S. dollars and incomes of the special fund - 3,4 billion U.S. dollars.
The budget also provides the expenses in the amount of almost 39 billion U.S. dollars, including the expenses of the general fund – 39,7 billion U.S. dollars and the expenses of the special fund amounting 3,8 billion U.S. dollars.
Besides, the wages of the public officials will not be increased in 2019 according to the state budget 2019. The living wage established in 2018 will become the basis during the calculation of salaries.
