In the South African Republic on the evening of July 21, the attackers from the ambush opened fire at the minibus with taxi drivers who were returning to Johannesburg from the funeral of a colleague. This is reported by Reuters.

"The attack happened yesterday at about 8 p.m. The car was ambushed. 11 people were killed, four were seriously injured and are in hospital. As far as we understand, they were all from the association of Gauteng taxi drivers," the representative of the local authorities told the agency.

It is not yet known who attacked the minibus, but it is reported that taxi-minibuses are the most popular form of transport in South Africa, and the struggle for lucrative routes often leads to violence.
Earlier the ship with another batch of anthracite for Ukraine arrived in the port of Chornomorsk on Friday, November 3. This is stated in the message on the sea trading port Chornomorsk website.

It is noted that the vessel from Cyprus delivered to the Ukrainian port 75 thousand tons of coal.

"A ship with coal from South Africa was moored at the port of Chornomorsk on November 3. Bulker Scythia Graeca delivered 75 thousand tons of anthracite to Ukraine, and from 20:00 the port of Chernomorsk has already started unloading the vessel,' the message reads.

Upon completion of the unloading work, the arriving coal consignment will go to Kryvyi Rig thermal power plant.

We recall, Ukraine received the first batch of coal from South Africa in May this year.

As previously reported, the Energy Ministry said that Ukraine will become completely independent from coal-anthracite use by 2019.
