Minibus collided with truck in Kyiv, 12 people hospitalized

February 24, an accident occurred on Kyiv's  Kharkiv Square with the participation of a minibus and a MAZ truck. As a result of the accident, 12 people were injured, as Informator reported.

According to preliminary information, the truck stopped at a red light, and the minibus driver for unknown reasons did not manage to slow down and crashed. There were no fatalities as a result of the accident, but 12 people received injuries of varying severity. The minibus driver has obtained the most serious injuries; he was taken to a hospital in a moderate condition. Also, 11 passengers of the bus were delivered to hospitals with minor and moderate injuries.

The accident caused a traffic jam in the direction of Boryspil, two lanes for traffic were completely blocked. As of 19:00, the traffic jam stretched for almost 9 km - from the Vydubychi metro station to Kharkiv Square.

Several ambulances, as well as patrol police, worked at the scene. At the moment, law enforcement authorities are engaged in clarifying the details of an accident.

As we reported before, February 24, during celebrating a carnival in the city of Volkmarzen in Germany, a car crashed into a crowd, according to the official figures 15 people were injured, but journalists report more than 30 injured.
