Military servant of the Rapid Reaction Border Command of Ukraine’s Border Guard Service died during firing exercises in Lviv region. The press office of Ukraine’s Border Guard Service reports.
“The border service informed the Military Prosecution units, Lviv National Police and other associated institutions about this immediately. Meanwhile, the operational investigative group is conducting immediate investigative activities,” the message says.
As Interfax-Ukraine reported, Volodymyr Sheremet, the Head of the Western Regional Department press office of the Border Guard Service, the deceased was a 28-year-old contract military servant of the Border Guard Service. He died during the firing exercise with anti-tank rocket launcher held by the Rapid Reaction Border Command on the practice ground in Velyki Mosty, Sokal region.
Sheremet pointed out that, the deceased warrant officer ?? had been serving in the army since 2008 in reconnaissance company of the Command.
Other details of the case are not revealed.
