Military parade takes place in occupied Simferopil

Military parade in honor of the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War took place on the central square of the Crimean capital, Simferopil as Crimeainform reports.

The edition emphasizes that about one thousand soldiers from Simferopil military reservation and Black Sea Fleet, cadets, Young army soldiers and Cossacks took part in the parade. Thirty-eight pieces of military equipment, including S-300 missile system, BM-21 Grad, BTR-80, Typhoon and Iveco LMV (Lynx) drove along the central street.

Vasiliy Popov, colonel, commander of the 126th coastal defense brigade managed the parade and Andrey Kolotovkin, major general, commander of the 22nd army corps of the Black Sea Fleet inspected the parade.

During the military parade, Sergey  Aksyonov, the Head of the Republic of Crimea and Vladimir Konstantinov, the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea were on the central tribune.

Let us remind that Ukraine marks the 72nd anniversary of the victory over the Nazism in the Second World War.
