Mercenaries wounded a civilian in Donbas, the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operations (JFO) reports.

"A civilian was injured due to attack committed by the armed formations of Russian Federation in the city of Mariinka today, around 12:00 p.m.," the report informs.

The woman was reportedly walking through the city with her three-year-old child. Illegal armed formations fired several shots. The bullet hit the victim in the chest and the shoulder.

It is stated that the necessary primary medical assistance to the woman was provided by the soldiers of the Joint Forces. She is currently at the hospital in Kurakhove. According to doctors, the condition of the wounded woman is stable.

"This situation proves once again how unprincipled and immoral the actions of the Russian occupying troops against the civilian population of Donbas are," the HQ noted.

As we reported earlier, Russia has several plans or scenarios regarding Donbas; they include the referendum on the re-integration of territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as the revival of 'Novorossiya' project. Eduard Matyukha, the Ukrainian reconnaissance officer who worked undercover in the occupied Donbas for five years said so as quoted by TSN.
