Kyiv mayor Klitschko discussed film production in Ukraine with director Michael Bay

The director of "Transformers" is interested in filming movies and videos in Kyiv

Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko discussed filmmaking prospects in Ukraine during a meeting with American famous director Michael Bay. This was reported by the capital's mayor on his Facebook page.

“Here came a good friend of mine, American director and film producer Michael Benjamin Bay, one of the best directors of the world, whose films collected more than 5.7 billion dollars at the box office,” Klitschko said.

According to the Kyiv mayor, Bay is interested in filming movies and videos in the Ukrainian capital.

“We talked about the conditions for filmmaking in Ukraine, about the city’s help in organizing filming, about the beautiful locations of Kyiv and the prospects for cooperation. Everyone was satisfied,” Klitschko said.

Michael Bay is known for directing such films as Armageddon, The Bad Boys, Pearl Harbor, Transformers, The Rock, The Island, and others.
