In downtown Kyiv, a march of supporters of ex-President of Georgia and leader of Movement of New Forces political party Mikheil Saakashvili is underway.
Before the march, there was a small meeting, in which the organizers told the present about the aim of the protest and criticized the authorities.
The route of the almost traditional Sunday procession has been slightly changed, as at the moment there are people protesting the legislation, which makes car custom clearance too expensive.
The protesters demand president Poroshenko’s resignation and re-election to the parliament.
It’s worth noting that the media estimate numbers of protesters in thousands, while the police told about a few hundreds.
About 2.000 law enforcers are overseeing protests in central Kyiv today.
