In Kyiv, a man, who threatened to blow up the Metro bridge, was detained. Journalist Maksym Nazarov reports this information in his Telegram channel.

The journalist notes that shooting was heard during the detention.

A previously unknown man announced the mining of the Metro bridge in Kyiv, and because of this, the bridge was closed.

The deputy minister of internal affairs of Ukraine, Anton Herashchenko, in a commentary to the 112 Ukraine television channel, said that the head of the police, Andriy Kryshchenko, had personally been in talks with the man.

According to Babel news agency, law enforcement officers received a call about mining at 14:27. They have already established who owns the phone number. The caller insulted the operator and cursed.

However, the citizen, whose number was identified by law enforcement officers, said that his phone was stolen a couple of months ago. Who it belongs to now is unknown.

The news agency also notes that, according to sources, the miner demanded a meeting with the Minister of the Interior Arsen Avakov.
