Man put himself on fire in Minsk, January 2021

A 35-year-old man set himself afire in the centre of Minsk, next to the government building. He survived, but suffered sever burns to 50 percent of his skin, reports.

The message says that the man poured some liquid on himself and ignited it. The guards managed to put the fire out with fire extinguisher. The ambulance car reached the site, and the man was taken to the hospital. Law enforcers are figuring out the details.

According to spokeswoman of the Head Department of Minsk municipal executive committee Natalia Ganusevich, the man is being identified. Meanwhile, Healthcare Ministry claimed that the man is unconcsious.
