A man has been apprehended in the Chernihiv region, northern Ukraine. The culprit made a drug lab from his living house and a yard. He also stored a significant amount of drugs and an unregistered gun. The press office of the National Police reported that on September 17.
As law enforcers performed an authorized search in the house and the vicinities, they found 20 kilograms of dried hemp, 10 kilograms of the ground substance of herbal origin, which resembled marijuana, over 50 pills of ecstasy, about 60 grams of powder that resembled amphetamine, 1/2 liter of cannabis essence, 15 kilograms of hemp seeds, as well as an unregistered shotgun and ammunition for it.
The lawbreaker also turned one of the rooms into a greenhouse to grow drug plants. The building had a ventilation system, artificial lights, heating lamps, and other facilities.
Corpus delicti were collected and taken for expertise. The overall amount of seized drugs exceeds USD 40,000.
The man could face up to seven years behind the bars.
