Man dies in Vinnytsia region after being vaccinated with Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine

In Vinnytsia region, on July 2, a 47-year-old man died shortly after an injection of an anti-coronavirus vaccine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

The man was vaccinated against Covid-19 at 13:45. No adverse event was reported within an hour after vaccination. At 17:00 the patient had complaints of nausea, he fainted. An ambulance was called for the citizen, and doctors carried out resuscitation measures.

Unfortunately, at 18:02, the doctors pronounced the death of the man. According to the health department of Vinnytsia region, the deceased was vaccinated with the Comirnaty / Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

5 other people who were vaccinated from the same vial with him have a satisfactory condition.

The death was reported as an adverse event after immunization, as the death occurred within 30 days of the coronavirus vaccination. This incident is currently being considered by the Regional Group for Rapid Response to Adverse Events after Immunization / Tuberculin Diagnostics of the Department of Health of Vinnytsia Region.

Meanwhile, a centre for mass vaccination will be opened at Atlas Weekend festival in Kyiv. Those willing to get inoculated will be able to do so at Pavilion No.9 of Kyiv's Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy from July 5 through July 11.
