A man with the inscription ‘Conscience’ on his jacket burst into Odesa Airport and demanded the evacuation of all people from its territory. The press service of the local police on Facebook reported that on January 8.

A man in a Volkswagen minibus knocked down a barrier at the entrance to the airport. After that, he entered the building and demanded the evacuation of all employees and passengers.

Upon arrival, the police ransacked the airport and the police car. No explosive objects or substances were found, but there was a pneumatic weapon in the car.

The event was qualified as a knowingly untruthful message about a threat to the security of citizens (Article 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). An investigation is underway regarding all causes of a man’s behavior and his condition.

As we reported, a grenade exploded, resulting in three people being injured during a domestic conflict in one of the dormitories in Odesa.
