Maksym Hryschuk became the Acting Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP). The RBK-Ukraine news agency reports this information with reference to a source in the SAP.
Maksym Hryschuk was born in Ternopil.
In October 2015, he applied to the competition commission to elect the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. Based on the selection results, on November 27, the commission submitted two candidates to Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin - Maksym Hryschuk and Nazar Kholodnytsky. Shokin approved the candidacy of Kholodnytsky.
On December 4, 2015, the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office chose Hryschuk as his first deputy. On the same day, the Prosecutor General appointed Hryschuk to this position.
As we reported earlier, the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) Nazar Kholodnytsky wrote a letter of resignation.
The SAP noted that Kholodnytsky plans to publish a letter of resignation on September 1.
It is noted that he not only leaves the SAP, but withdraws from the prosecutor's office entirely.
