Ukraine's MP Lyashko congratulates warriors on Intercession of Theotokos in hospital

Leader of the Radical Party Oleh Lyashko attended the department of traumatology in Kyiv hospital to congratulate the veterans on the Defender of Ukraine Day

Leader of the Radical Party Oleh Lyashko marked the Intercession of the Theotokos with the warriors injured on the front line. The politician arrived in Kyiv Military Hospital, where he congratulated the veterans on the Defender of Ukraine Day and thanked them for their heroic deed. He noted that it was a great honor to be with the military on that day. Informator reports with a reference to the politician's Facebook page.

In particular, Lyashko attended the department of traumatology. According to the witnesses, the fighters were pleased for the guest.  

‘A pity that they meet this day here, not with their family. But for me, it is a great honor to mark the Intercession of the Theotokos with them,’ he said. 

It’s turned out that Oleh Lyashko missed Taras Motoroi, one of the fighters 24th Separate Assault Battalion "Aidar."

‘I missed with Taras Motoroi from Aidar on the front line: he received injuries on August 23 and was delivered to a hospital, and I visited their unit in Luhansk region on August 24 on the Independence Day... Taras is from Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk region, my family also comes from there. He went to the front line, so his wife Svitlana and daughter Ania to live under a peaceful sky. Today, the whole family arrived to support the father. The wife and the daughter are proud of him. And I am proud of him too and I wish him to be very healthy,’ Lyashko noted.

One of Donbas warriors, Vitaliy Bas, has said with a smile that Oleh Lyashko managed to turn gray.  

‘Vitalik Bas, who is being treated in the military hospital, noted that I turned very gray. Told him that this is the life. Although, I don’t have the right to complain when I look in the eyes of these fellas. They survived so much that we never dreamed of, and at the same time, they remained open and smiling. They are our future. Praying for a quick recovery of these guys,’ Lyashko claimed.
