Lviv Mayor Andry Sadovy does not execute his duties as he sees himself as the candidate for the presidency, as 112 Ukraine reported citing Chairman of Lviv Regional Council Oleksandr Hanushchyn.
“The city roads are the responsibility of the city head. Unfortunately, our Mayor does not execute his functions directly as he sees himself as the candidate for the presidency. The economic sphere of the city suffers because of it,” he said.
“The roads are only the beginning because I think that a lot of people remember the issue of garbage in Lviv, which was successfully transferred to the regional level by Sadovy. I think that he needs to prepare for the return to work as the city head,” Hanushchyn added.
Moreover, the official added that any new school or kindergarten was built in Lviv during three cadences of Sadovy.
“Our city head is serving his third cadence now. Any new school or kindergarten was built in Lviv during his office,” he said.
Hanushchyn noted that all new kindergartens are created as the private.
“Yesterday I took my child to the private kindergarten, as there are huge queues to the public kindergartens ruled by Lviv City Council. The whole fund of the kindergartens is not replenished by new kindergartens but it is replenished by the private sector, which develops,” he added.
As we reported after winter, Lviv roads are terrible. Such a situation occurred for the first time over many years, as the member of Lviv City Council Valeriy Veremchuk said.
Earlier it was reported that Lviv drivers complain about the bad roads in the city. The activists put in the masks of Lviv officials, poured paint over the hollow spots and put there water balloons symbolizing asphalt.
