Lviv can get into the "red" zone today as Lviv City Council reported citing City Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.

It is reported that over the past day, 56 residents of Lviv were hospitalized in hospitals and only six were discharged. 19 people died in a day.

"This is a very sad statistics, even though it was a weekend. As a rule, on weekdays, more patients are admitted to medical institutions," Sadovyi said.

Today, the State Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergenciesmust decide on the transition of Lviv to the "red" zone.

"The regional infectious diseases hospital is 110% loaded. Our city hospitals are currently occupied by approximately 53%. We have a sufficient number of places, we have oxygen, because in the spring we began to buy oxygen stations, and our hospitals produce oxygen on their own," the mayor added.

In case of a transition to the "red" zone, most likely, the same restrictions will apply that Lviv planned to introduce on November 1.

Today Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Odesa, Sumy and kherson regions are in the “red” zone. Vinnytsia, Zakarpattia, Kyrovohrad and Poltava are in the “yellow” zone. Are other regions are in the “orange” zone.
