Lviv airport signs contract with Ryanair

The international Lviv airport declined a few demands of Ryanair Air Company at the negotiations with it. However, they concluded the contract. The Director General of the airport Tatyana Romanovska claimed this as Interfax-Ukraine reported.

‘We omitted a few requirements. They offer only the primary agreement for the first year and all other requirements, that Boryspil airport mentioned will be concerned in the next years’, she claimed.

This is about the requirements on profit, land for the hotel and so on.

Earlier, Vladymyr Omelyan claimed that Ukraine can create its own low-cost air company that will be supported by the foreign investors.

Ryanair canceled the planned entry into the Ukrainian market on July 10. The company noted that Boryspil took the side of the airlines with the high tariffs, including the International Airlines of Ukraine. The Director General of Boryspil Pavlo Ryabikin airport accused Ryanair in the political pressure to sign the contract. According to him, Boryspil can meet with losses in the sum of 77 million of dollars in the result of Ryanair's ultimatum.

The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan claimed that the management of  Boryspil intentionally crumbed the deal with Ryanair. The minister will introduce the submission on dismissing of the director of the Boryspil airport Pavlo Ryabikin for the consideration of the Parliament.
