The militants who prepared an armed provocation, were detained in Belarus. This was announced by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the BelTA agency reports.

Answering a question about the reasons for the recent activization of the so-called fifth column and various opposition structures, the head of state Lukashenko said: "They not only did not sleep, we already detained several dozen militants (not the ones in buses, anarchists with masks) who undergo trainings in the camps with weapons. By the way, one of the camps was in the area of Bobruisk and Osipovichi. The rest of the such camps are in Ukraine. In my opinion, there are other camps in Lithuania or in Poland, I will not argue, but I think - somewhere there."

Lukashenko also said about how law enforcers found out about the plans of the militants.

"Thank you for the fact that there are true Belarusians who, being abroad - in the European Union - warned us." The woman came to the embassy and warned, she officially wrote a letter: a provocation is being prepared, and we began to investigate, and, indeed, we found with very interesting things ", he said.
