Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal stated that the lockdown will be extended after May 22 but it will be adaptive as 112 Ukraine TV channel reported.

In other words, the restrictive measures will vary in different regions and cities.

Concerning the opening of city and interregional transport traffic, Shmgyal believes it is untimely. According to him, it is dangerous from the point of view of epidemic.

Transport will be launched at the third stage of the lifting of the restrictions.

“Still the important issue is the suburban and intercity transport traffic. Unfortunately, metro and intercity transportation will promote the extremely fast and wide spread of the disease and epidemic in general. It makes impossible to localize the means of adaptive quarantine. That is why, not at the second but only starting from the third stage, we will be able to impose the restoration of the work of suburban transport, intercity transport and metro. The launch now will lead to the outbreak,” he said.

As we reported, Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers extended the lockdown in Ukraine until May 22. However, some easing is expected. Starting from May 11: the opening of parks, squares, recreation areas, beauty salons, summer venues of food establishments, libraries, museums.
