Lockdown in Kyiv extended until April 30, - mayor

The lockdown in the Ukrainian capital has been prolonged until April 30. Vitaliy Klitschko, the mayor reported that on Wednesday.

The following restrctions will remain during this period:

- All schools and kindergartens will be closed;

- All public transport will be working only for passengers who carry special passes;

- Food service establishments will work in the takeaway and delivery modes;

- Grocery markets will be closed.

The mayor reiterated that leaders of establishments, companies and enterprises have to provide condtitions for remore working mode or let their workers take some time off.

The vaccination process of the population against coronavirus with Chinese CoronaVac vaccine produced by Sinovac Biotech started in Ukraine on April 13.
