LNR militant was detained by the Ukrainian servicemen in the Luhansk region. This is reported by the National police of the region.
From March to June 2015, the detainee was a scout for invaders and lived in the city of Rovenky, Luhansk region.
On April 19, a 46-year-old LNR fighter was detained at the Petropavlivka checkpoint by the fighters of the Luhansk-1 battalion checking documents of the bus passengers.
The man was transferred to Security Service employees.
Earlier law enforcers detained LNR (Luhansk People’s Republic, - ed.) militant on the border with the occupied Crimea. He escaped from the members of the illegal armed formations, as Oleg Slobodyan, the Advisor of the Head of Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service, reported on Facebook.
In 2014, the man born in 1972 was working as a driver of one of the “zone commanders” for two months. Over this period, he was never paid, that’s why he resigned, then he started working in the military commissariat.
