Lithuania is consulting with its allies on the possible expulsion of Russian Embassy staff from the country to express solidarity with the Czech Republic. Delfi reported citing Chief Foreign Policy Adviser to the President of the Republic of Lithuania Asta Skaisgirytė.
"The Czech government has asked for the solidarity of NATO and EU partners, and now there are consultations through diplomatic channels on how best to express this solidarity together," Skaisgirytė said.
She added that the President of Lithuania fully supports the Czech Republic's efforts to cut the presence of foreign military intelligence in the territory of NATO, and, of course, expresses solidarity with the actions taken by the Czech government.
As it was reported, British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab fully supports the Czech Republic, which has expelled 18 Russian diplomats from Prague.
