The list of quarantine color zones has been updated in Ukraine. According to it, Ternopil remains in the red zone; Kaniv joins the most restricted area, too. Minister of the Cabinet Oleg Nemchynov reported that on Thursday evening.
The new zoning will become effective on October 5; it will remain effective for 14 days.
Kyiv is now in the yellow zone.
The daily number of those infected with coronavirus in Ukraine will be growing considerably. In the next few months, it is expected at the rate of 7-9,000 cases every day. Head of the WHO in Ukraine Jarno Habicht said so in an interview with Suspline.
"In the coming months, we expect that the number of cases will be exceed 5,000 and could be making fro, 7,000 to 9,000 every day. In this context, we also witness more and more cases in Europe", Habicht said.
He added that currently, such growth is observed in all countries, because the illness's spread has not been curtailed yet.
