As for today, less than 10% of the world population got through the coronavirus as World Health Organization Representative Maria Van Kerkhove stated.

“The majority of the studies show that less than 10% of people are seropositive; in other words, were infected. The medics are most vulnerable to the infection; that is why the rates are higher in this category,” Kerkhove said.

According to the expert, the WHO explores all studies on resilience to the coronavirus. According to the organization, quick and conclusive tests will help to take the pandemic under control.

According to Worldometers, the number of people infected with Covid-19 surpassed 18 million in the world. The U.S. remains to be on the first place with 4.8 million cases. Brazil is on second place with 2.7 million infected and India is on the third place with 1.8 million cases.

As of August 3, over 73,000 people are infected with Covid-19 in Ukraine. 990 cases were registered during the past 24 hours.
