French newspaper "Le Figaro", which earlier wrote Kyiv as "Kiev" on the website, has apologized and corrected a technical error. Oleh Shamshur, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to France, twitted it.
"We noticed the regrettable, as we were assured in the editorial office of the Le Figaro newspaper, technical error in the video about coming home of Ukrainian political prisoners and sailors. Continue monitoring the correctness of formulation in social networking and media together," says the message of the Embassy.
As it was reported earlier, 24 Ukrainian sailors and 11 political prisoners returned to Ukraine. Faces of the released Ukrainian seamen, filmmaker Oleg Sentsov, journalist Roman Sushchenko, Crimean Tatar Edem Bekirov and the rest of former captives are seen in the crowd of reporters who approached them to get the first comments.
The full list with the released captives was published on the official website of the President of Ukraine.
