Law enforcers search office of Zik TV channel

The reason is investigation of an accident with the channel’s investor Petro Dyminsky

Law enforcement bodies conduct searches in the office of the news agency and TV channel Zik in Lviv. This was reported on September 6 by the PR-department of the channel.

"The reason of the searches is allegedly investigation in the case of a deadly accident involving a car belonging to the investor of ZIK Petro Dyminsky," the statement said.

According to Ukrainian News agency, the special forces also conducts  searches in  the house of Dyminsky’s bodyguard Andriy Borshch. This was reported to the agency by his lawyer Vladyslav Matiashuk.

Advisor to Internal Minister of Ukraine Anton Herashchenko on his Twitter page wrote that the purpose of the searches is to obtain DNA samples for comparison with those taken from the Dyminsky’s car.

As it was reported earlier there was an accident in the Lviv region involving a businessman Petro Dyminsky, a woman was killed in the accident. It is known that a 31-year-old woman, a resident of the village died.
