National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO), together with the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau of Poland and the District Prosecutor's Office, are conducting authorized searches in Kyiv, Lviv, and Poland as part of a joint investigation into the activities of a criminal organization in the field of road management. This was reported by the NABU’s press service.

"Investigative actions are carried out by an international investigating team at the offices of Ukravtodor (Ukraine's State Roadway Service - 112 International.), companies participating in tenders of the state agency, as well as at the place of residence of the state agency’s former officials and Polish citizens, probable members of the criminal organization," the statement said.

As we reported earlier, Slawomir Nowak, the former CEO of Ukravtodor, Ukraine's State Roadway Service, was detained in Gdansk, Poland.

"Slawomir N., ex-MP of Polish Republic and ex-leader of State Roadway Service of Ukraine, Dariusz S., the ex-head of GROM special service and Jacek P., the entrepreneur from Gdansk," Stanisław Żaryn, the press secretary of Coordination Minister of Poland's special services, said.
