In January 2020, the launch of 112 rescue services in the Kyiv region will begin, and then it will expand to the whole of Ukraine. The pilot project is already working in the Bila Tserkva, according to Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk in an interview for RBC-Ukraine.
The head of government called the introduction of 112 service an important and vibrant project, which will be created due to the mass deaths of Ukrainians due to accidents.
“This is a rescue phone, coordination of five departments: ambulance, emergency services, firefighters, police and gas service. We want to save the maximum number of people next year,” - Honcharuk said.
He also noted that many patients at the moment simply do not reach the hospital by ambulance, and even if they reach their destination, they do not always get the proper help there.
"One of the main goals of our government next year is to save the maximum number of lives," – Honcharuk noted.
