Entry into the Republic of Latvia without a valid reason is allowed only to citizens of Ukraine who have Covid certificates from the EU member states, Switzerland and the UK and who have Covid certificates in the Diya mobile application, according to the Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia.
"Entry into the Republic of Latvia from September 18 without a valid reason, including for tourism purposes, is allowed only to citizens of Ukraine who have Covid certificates of the EU EEA member states, Switzerland and the UK, and also have Covid certificates obtained in the mobile application" Diya "with a QR code to check them and are compatible with the current system of recognition of Covid-19 vaccination certificates in the Republic of Latvia," the message says.
These persons are not subject to 10 days of self-isolation and are exempt from the requirement of testing for Covid-19 before arriving in Latvia and after their stay. Before traveling, you must fill out a questionnaire on the website covidpass.lv (no earlier than two days before your arrival in Latvia).
Meanwhile, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 3,983 new cases of Covid-19, including 422 children and 52 healthcare workers.
1,767 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 46 patients deceased and 546 recovered. 45,858 tests have been taken.
Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kharkiv (610), Odesa (319), Dnipropetrovsk (300), Khmelnytsky (291) and Lviv (246) regions.
