Today, April 8, at 14:50, the operational coordination center of the State Emergencies Service of Kyiv received a message about the fire of wood with the spread of fire to a one-story warehouse, as the press service of the State Emergency Situations reported.

Rescuers said that a fire occurred in the warehouse of paints and varnishes in the Darnitsky district of the capital at the address: Boryspilska street, 9. The total area of ​​the premises is 500 square meters.

As of 15:35, the fire spread to the adjacent territory; as a result, the total fire area was about 2,000 square meters.

According to law enforcement and rescue workers, there are no victims and injured in the fire. 65 people and 16 pieces of equipment were involved in putting out the fire.

As we reported before, five hectares of forest planting have burned out in the exclusion zone in Kyiv region. It took place in the result of the incineration of dry grass and garbage.
