The Ryanair plane, carrying Nexta founder Roman Pratasevich, was landed in Minsk in agreement with the company's management. LRT reported this citing the head of the Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau Rolandas Kiskis.
"We have already interviewed dozens of people who flew on the plane, including crew members. The captain has already been interrogated," Kiskis said.
When asked who decided to land the plane in Minsk, the head of the Bureau answered that the captain of the plane did so in agreement with the management of Ryanair. But Lithuanian law enforcement agencies further clarify these circumstances. According to him, a request for legal assistance has already been sent to Belarus.
As it was reported earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus commented on the incident with the Ryanair plane. The Foreign Ministry stressed that the event should be viewed from the point of security, and advised to wait for the conclusions of competent experts.
