Kyiv's Court obtains 'bomber' Oleksiy Belko custody valid for 60 days with bail alternative

Ex-military can remain out the bail at a rate of $11,8 thousand

Dnipro Region Court accepted the restrictive measure to ex-military Oleksiy Belko who threatened to bomb the Metro Bridge in Kyiv. The suspected is obtained to custody, as Ukrainian news reports. 

Oleksiy Belko is taken to custody valid for 60 days. He can remain out the bail at a rate of $11,8 thousand. In this case, the detainee will be under house arrest and he will be wearing an electronic bracelet. 

The judge rejected the statement of Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov by the appropriate decision as well as the declarations of  SWAT commander Mykola Putiy and MP Yana Zinkevych who were ready to bail the arrested man.

Earlier the Minister dtated he would be personally applicating a request and demanding the minimum penalty for the ex-military. Arsen Avakow wants to bail Oleksiy Belko. 

MP from the policial party European Solidarity Yana Zinkevychalso stated she was ready to bail the arrested and promised she would pay all the expenditures for his treatment and provide him with accommodation. 

Oleksiy Belko will not be charged in terrorist act preparation.
