According to the KyivPride, more than 8,000 people joined today’s March of Equality in Kyiv. The organizers noted that there were about 5,000 people on the March last year.
Representatives of some public organizations, namely Human Rights Watch, were also there.
Representatives of the LGBT community had posters saying “Our traditions is Freedom”, “Fight and you will prevail”, “Love must be safe”, “Live freely, get tested”, “We also love, but we love freely”.
Earlier, the leader of the Golos party Svyatoslav Vakarchuk expressed his respect for LGBT rights.
The organizers also invited the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to the March of Equality, but he didn't show up.
According to preliminary information, from 20 to 30 LGBT-people from the military participated in today’s March.
