Ukraine’s capital city Kyiv will host festive events on Wednesday, as citizens are going to celebrate the Flag Day. Press centre of Kyiv city hall reported that on Tuesday evening.
President Petro Poroshenko will be the first one to host the official ceremony of raising the country’s state flag. Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko and MPs of the Kyiv city council will hold a similar ceremony near the building of the city hall.
The blue and yellow banners are to be raised in all districts of the city, primarily on the buildings of governmental authorities.
Sofiyska square, Poshtova square and open-air park Spivoche Pole will host concerts timed to the Flag Day.
