The Kyiv City State Administration claims that the capital's kindergartens are fully prepared to resume work since June 1. The press service of the Kyiv City State Administration reports that.

"Acting First Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Valentyn Mondrievsky, together with reporters, checked how the employees of pre-school education institutions are getting ready to meet the little Kievites on June 1 by the example of garden No. 345 in the Darnytskyi district," the statement said.

According to Mondrievsky, the main task is to ensure minimization of contacts, constant cleaning and disinfection of premises.

“The city is gradually weakening quarantine measures, and preschool facilities are becoming an urgent need for working Kiev residents. Using the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the experience of the countries that defeated the pandemic, we have developed a regulation for returning children to preschool. We clearly understand that preschool are provided with everything necessary and together additional supplies are already awaiting with district education directorates," he said.

Besides, the Kyiv City State Administration said that the staff of the institutions undergo clear instructions on how to act in case of an outbreak of a respiratory disease in an educational institution. In addition, the health status of educators, nurses and all those who begin to work in preschool with children is now being checked.

“The safety of all children and the personnel who will be in contact with them is extremely important. Therefore, we insist that parents take responsibility for the requirements and not bring children into preschool, if possible. And if you find any signs of illness, you must contact the doctor," Mondrievsky emphasized.

As we reported before, Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry will be offering a different strategy of combating coronavirus during the second wave. These measures will be aimed at preventing the new total quarantine in this country.
