Law enforcers found a son of a Libyan diplomat kidnapped in the center of Kyiv. This was reported by the head of the City Police, Andriy Kryshchenko, the press service reports in Facebook.
"Police have established the whereabouts of the kidnapped man. He has minor injuries. Now investigators are working with him.." - he said.
According to Kryshchenko, at the moment police is finding out who forced the man to sit in the car.
We reported that man was kidnapped today at noon at the Turhenivska street in Kyiv. This was reported by the press service of the capital's police.
"About 12:00 Shevchenkivsky police department began to receive messages from witnesses that on Turhenivska street two unknown people forcibly put an unidentified man in a dark color car and drove off the scene," the report said.
In connection with the abduction in the city, an interception plan has been introduced, the police are searching for a dark-blue Volkswagen-Golf.
In fact, the criminal proceedings under Art. 146 of the Criminal Code (unlawful deprivation of liberty or kidnapping of a person) started.
As reported 112.ua in the press service of the Kyiv police, the abducted person is a Libyan citizen Abdusalam, born in 1992, the son of the financial attaché of the Libyan embassy in Ukraine. At the place of abduction, the police seized a passport with the name of Abduslam.
People's Deputy, a member of the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Herashchenko in the comment to "112 Ukraine" suggested that the kidnapping was committed for the purpose of ransom - in connection with the "financial capabilities of the family."
