The clergy and workers of Kyiv Pechersk Lavra monastery, students and teachers of Kyiv Spiritual Academy require assistance to combat the spread of SARS Covid-19. The detailed information on the news, needs and reports on the treatment of coronavirus in the monastery may be viewed on the website.

The monastery staff created a fund that provides diagnostics and treatment of the Covid-19 patients.

As is known, Lavra has been closed for quarantine due to over a hundred confirmed cases of infection with Covid-19.

The overall numbrer of infected in Ukraine exceeded 6,125 people. 161 lethal cases are observed, and 367 patients recovered.

The pandemic of coronavirus will lead to the lower living standards in 170 countries as IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva wrote.

According to her, the global economic activity will decline in record level not seen since the Great Depression.

“This year 170 countries will see income per capita go down—only months ago we were projecting 160 economies to register positive per capita income growth,” Georgieva noted.
