Four Ukrainian cities - Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Dnipro - were included in the TomTom Traffic Index ranking due to the largest time delays for traffic jams in 2020.
The capital of Ukraine is now located between the Indian Bengaluru and New Delhi. The average delay in Kyiv is 51%, which means that a 30-minute trip on an empty road will turn into a 45-minute one (in case the road is busy).
In first place in the ranking is taken by Moscow (and Moscow region), the second belongs to Mumbai (India), and the third - Bogota (Colombia).
The list also includes Odesa -11th place, Kharkiv, which takes 13th place, and 22nd place is secured by Dnipro.
As we reported earlier, Big 7 Travel outlet put Kyiv on the list of the world's top 20 best cities for remote work in 2021.
The Ukrainian capital city is considered perfect for remotely working people who wish to explore the unique culture of this country during a long period of stay.
"Kyiv enjoys a perfect connection with the rest of Europe, which makes it a practical choice for those considering the affordable kind of traveling," the statement said.
