Kyiv is not ready to move to the next stage of lockdown easing. This was announced by Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko during a briefing that was broadcasted on 112 Ukraine TV channel.

He added that all quarantine restrictions could be applied in Ukraine's capital once again if the number of patients per 100,000 population was more than 24.

"I want to note that the number of patients per 100,000 population has been more than 15 people over the last 5 days. According to this criterion, Kyiv, unfortunately, cannot move to the next stage of easing. Therefore, it is too early to talk about the opening of restaurants, swimming pools, children's camps and more," Klitschko said.
