The Kyiv Metro's red line resumed its work. This happened after detention of the man who threatened to blow up the Metro bridge. The press service of the Kyiv Metropoliten municipal enterprise reported this.
"Friends! Metro works as usual! Goodnight everyone," the message reads.
As it was reported earlier, the law enforcers detained a man who threatened to blow up the Metro Bridge in Kyiv.
An unknown man got to the Metro bridge in Kyiv and stopped in the middle of it. The malefactor was threatening to blow it up. Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko stated that the perpetrator downed the police quadcopter using the shotgun.
Moreover, Klitschko reported, that the man could be influenced by alcohol or drugs.
“Preliminary, he is drunk. There was a phone talk with him; he talked with a lot of acquaintances by phone. His demands are unclear as well as the motives. There is the high probability that he is drugged,” the message said.
A video of the assault, when KORD and Alpha special forces detain the man, was published on the web.
