The Mayor of Kyiv Vitaly Klitschko invited the analyst of The Economist edition Jon Copestake to visit the Ukrainian capital promising to be his personal guide. The invitation letter was published by the Embassy of Ukraine to the UK.

Klitschko thinks that Copestake never visited Ukraine and he is not acknowledged that the Ukrainian capital regularly hosts the high-ranking events.

‘Unfortunately I have an impression that you have never been to our marvelous European city, which annually holds numerous high-level international events such as two Eurovision Song Contests in 2005 and 2017, UEFA European Championship and numerous world and European sport championships and that is without mentioning of millions of tourists which visit Kyiv every year’, Klitschko wrote.

The Mayor of Kyiv claimed that he is ready to show Copestake ‘beautiful European city’ and hold the excursion for him.

‘In this regard, dear Mr. Copestake, I would like to invite you to visit our beautiful, historical and European city at any convenient time and in case you accept my invitation I will personally give you a tour around our city with great pleasure’, Klitschko added.

Earlier The Economist Magazine published the rating of the most comfortable for life cities. Kyiv got the 131st place of 140.
