As we reported, due to difficult weather conditions, big traffic jams blocked the movement on the roads in Kyiv in the winter of 2018, according to Google Maps data. Traffic was paralyzed almost throughout the whole city.

To ensure the clearing of roads from snow, the entry of large-sized transport to the cities of Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Kremenchuh, Mykolayiv, Odesa, Kherson and certain parts of the roads in some regions was restricted.

2,413 people and 1,705 units of equipment were used to clear roads and assist in towing individual vehicles.
