Kyiv hosted 25 percent more tourists in 2017 than in 2016

1.6 million tourists have visited Kyiv over the previous year. This is 25 percent more than that in 2016, Kyiv city hall's press service reported.

The department also added that 850,000 domestic tourists visited Kyiv in 2017, while in 2016, the number totaled 720,000. 

This year, the government is going to set another tourist information center in the downtown Kyiv; another three are currently working at two airports and one shopping mall.  

The city hall also expects roughly 120,000 visitors to come to Kyiv during UEFA Champions League final in May.
