As of Wednesday, April 8, the season of heating in residential buildings is completely over in Kyiv. This was stated by Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Petro Panteleyev

"Today we have completed the shutdown of heating in the city of Kyiv, given the relatively warm weather ... and given the current situation, quite difficult, both in terms of the pandemic as such and in terms of financial burden, it was decided to end the season not on April 15, as it is usually done, but starting from April 5, when we already have a clear forecast of stable warm weather,” Panteleyev stated.

Also, the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration noted that residents of the capital were able to save 55,3 million dollars.

As we reported earlier, in Kyiv, police opened 574 administrative protocols for violators of the restrictive measures. 91,800 hryvnia ($3,338) were recovered to the budget on five protocols.

“Besides, one criminal proceeding was opened for endangering person of infection with coronavirus. Three criminal proceedings opened for violation of quarantine restrictions,” the Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko underlined.
