Kyiv administration restricts mass events with over 60 people due to coronavirus until April

The Kyiv City State Administration introduced a ban on holding mass events in the capital with the participation of more than 60 people until March 31 due to the spread of coronavirus. Kyiv State Administration stated this in its decision.

"To restrict mass events on the territory of Kyiv (of over 60 people), and only allow citizens who have passed thermometry to participate in the events," the document says.

The capital's authorities decided to limit the holding of sports events in Kyiv, to suspend the work of entertainment centers, cinemas, museums, and theaters.

As we reported before, the Ukrainian government has approved the list of measures that have to be taken in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Ukraine.

The government has also decided to allocate 39.5 million dollars for the first priority purchase of personal protective equipment for the current needs of ministries, departments and services, as well as for the replenishment of the state reserve.
