Kyiv city state administration decided to create a monitoring group that will be collecting data about potentially sick and those who contacted the people infected with Covid-2019. Vitaliy Klitschko, Kyiv mayor said so during the online briefing in Kyiv on March 27.
The information will be gathered from family doctors, Kyiv lab centre, State Border Guard and the National Police.
"The virus is aggressive, and it spreads very fast. And the main thing about it is to limit social contacts - so as not to put oneself at risk of communicating with those who carry the virus. For that to happen, it's important to impose the active mechanism of detection of all virus carriers, their isolation and treatment", Klitschko said.
He reported that the city hall developed an algorithm that he began to implement in close cooperation with law enforcement agencies, medical workers, residents of the capital.
"The first we've got to do is to create the unified information base of potentially sick people and those who contacted them. These people have to be sent for treatment or for isolation", Klitschko claimed.
Kyiv mayor urged the Kyiites to join in and provide the information about cases of morbidity among those who contacted potentially sick people.
