During the past 24 hours, the majority of new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv as Health Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov reported.
“The largest number of new Covid-19 cases during the past day were observed in Kyiv – 277, Odesa region – 189, Kharkiv region – 187, Ivano-Frankivsk region – 165, Chernivtsi region – 157, Lviv region – 154 and Ternopil region – 149 cases,” Stepanov noted.
According to Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, nine medics got infected with the coronavirus.
“During the past 24 hours, 277 were diagnosed with the coronavirus. Six patients died. Since the beginning of the pandemic, coronavirus took lives of 208 Kyiv citizens,” the message said.
Thus, 138 women at the age of 18 up to 88; 122 men at the age of 18 up to 77; 12 girls at the age of two up to 17 and five boys at the age of eight up to 13 got infected.
32 people were hospitalized while others stay in self-isolation under the observation of the doctors.
As for today, 13,370 Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Kyiv.
As we reported, 2,141 new cases of coronavirus infection were observed in Ukraine during the past 24 hours. Totally, 121,215 people got infected since the beginning of pandemic; 57,114 (+380) patients recovered; 2,557(+30) died.
