Kvartal 95 responded to the criticism of the performance about house arson of ex-Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva. The National honored academic Ukrainian folk choir of Ukraine named after Hryhoriy Veryovka participated in the performance.

The comedy show wrote about it on its Facebook

"Almost every new episode of Kvartal 95 becomes the resonance because we make jokes on the topics, which are highly discussed by society. Kvartal is the acute political satire, it was, it is and it will be that. Even if some politicians do not like it. Exactly politicians, their actions and the results of their cations, which affect millions of Ukrainians give us reasons for satire. We are thankful to the choir named after Hryhoriy Veryovka and we are sorry for the fact that the honored collective is the subject to the informational attack. The choir did not participate in writing of the song, so please, do respect it," says the message.

"Volodymyr, thank you for your reaction. We invite you on the next shooting of Kvartal 95 in order to give you the opportunity to say right after the concert what you are and what you are not ashamed for," reads the statement.

"Our humor is our main weapon. And until our weapon is acute and sharp, we will be doing what we do proudly," the collective added.
