Snow avalanche kills Kosovo’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Arián Daci died because of snow avalanche at the Brezovica ski resort, 60 kilometers from the capital of Kosovo Pristina, as Кosovapress reported.

The Deputy Minister was skiing when the avalanche began. The man did not manage to get out, because he was covered by the snow. Others were skiing with Daci as well, but they managed to get out safe and sound.

The rescuers found the body of Arián Daci. He was dead.  Daci's body was examined scrupulously. His body will be sent to Pristina.

It is decided to shut down the Brezovica ski rskisort for 2-3 days due to the snow avalanche and the death of the Deputy Minister of Kosovo. Such actions were undertaken because of the ongoing investigation process and for the sake of security.
